I will find a clip from Youtube and post the link later, but their live-action reenactment of the scene from "The Other Guys" with the kid in the back seat of the police car was simultaneously hysterically funny and genuinely frightening insofar as I like my teammates and don't want them to be injured. I am impressed that our driver was able to exceed the speed limit by 20 mph in such crowded traffic,* and I was further impressed that his empathetic processing centers in his brain had been so damaged that he did not realize he was achieving these speeds on curves while two of my teammates held on for dear life in the standing-room-only section of the shuttle. The first odd thing involved the shuttle transport from the airport to the Advantage facility.
While previous rentals from Advantage left me skeptical in the company's ability to provide our group a rental vehicle in a timely manner, I had no specific grounds to object to my employer's direction to use this company. I only gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I sort of expected it to be terrible given how Advantage is in other places and this experience was not quite as terrible as I planned for. That being said, it was still a pretty bad experience.ġ) the car was in pretty terrible condition, including having the check engine light onĢ) it took awhile before the security moved the traffic cones that prevent people from leaving the propertyģ) I got charged for adding an additional driver even though I asked about it and they said it wasn't extra (I didn't have time or energy to fight it) I got sort of lucky in that I went at an off hour so no line, they had enough cars in stock, and the lady at the front desk was in a good mood.
So you obviously only rent from here if you have no other option or you need to keep things cheap and are willing to risk a terrible experience.
